This doesn’t dry out my skin or make it feel tight, instead my face feels clean and soft and it takes of makeup effortlessly. I use it on travels as my makeup remover of choice because it doesn’t require cotton pads like micellar water does, plus, it does the job quicker, more efficiently, and with less irritation to the skin. I really like the Antipodes one but I have to warn you that it doesn’t “wash” off like this or from what I understand, the Clinique one too.

I never personally had a problem with it though; I’m now just extra careful and try not to get it on my skin. But on the other hand, I never tried out any other cleansing butters, so… maybe that’s why, since I haven’t tried out anything better! It also smells somewhat comforting and promises to totally change the way you approach your evening skincare routine due to how remarkably easy and fuss-free it is to use. Another claim that I feel I have to point out is that this product is supposedly »suitable for sensitive skin« — it’s not.

INCI is a list of the standardized and internationally accepted names used in the declaration of ingredients on cosmetic and personal care products. If your skin isn’t bugged by olive oil then ignore this bit of rambling 🙂 Have you already tried this cleansing butter? Melt the day away in a flash with the limited edition Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter with Japanese Tsubaki camellia seed oil. Apply our chamomile make-up remover butter with a gentle massage to leave your skin looking like new at the end of the day. Out of all these butters, I’d only recommend Eve Lom, Clinique and, surprisingly, Lush, as they’re the only ones who don’t contain parfum and declarable fragrance components.

Seriously, forget powerful skincare acids and retinol, if I could only live with one skincare product forever more, it would be Camomile Cleansing Butter. I find the product applies very easily over the skin and you can massage it in the way you do an oil cleanser, to remove your makeup and impurities. Needless to say, cleansing balms are something I feel quite passionately about, and the reason for this deep-rooted passion is down to one product in particular.

This butter gets your make-up off, doesn't dry out your skin, can be used as a make-up removing first cleanse or a skin soothing second cleanse. One more thing: the water used in cosmetics is purified and deionized (it means that almost all of the mineral ions inside it is removed). I use FaceTheory cleanser to clean my skin, and once I’m done with that, I clean my lashes as the Camomile has had time to sink into the stubborn waterproof mascara.

g. rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass, peppermint and it's the main component (about 50-90%) of the peel oil of citrus fruits. These days, I’m all about cleansing balms because cleansing oils are far too drying for my skin and I find that balms work better on my dry skin. Even bigger are the dangers that can come from limonene and linalool — irritation, sensitisation, contact dermatitis… the list goes on. I have been using the Drunk Elephant peeke bar for the past few months, but I don’t really enjoy the “soapiness” of it…. I emulsify with a little water, have a bit of a massage around and remove with a muslin cloth - I'd say you definitely need some form of cloth to remove.I use it as recommended by the manufacturer: I take a small amount of oil with my fingers, apply it to my entire face with massaging motions (on dry skin). Fragrance in the US and parfum in the EU is a generic term on the ingredient list that is made up of 30 to 50 chemicals on average (but it can have as much as 200 components! I started out using the Antipodes Grapeseed Butter Cleanser which I loved, and have incidentally finished and scraped clean, so it was time I experimented with another.
